The castle museum

Place d’Armes, Noirmoutier en l’Île.

Built in the late 12th century, this listed medieval château is one of the best preserved in the Grand Ouest region. Since 1905, the keep has housed a museum. Today, visitors can learn more about local archaeological discoveries and the castle. This year’s temporary exhibition is devoted to the museum’s collections, and invites you to (re)discover them through a playful and recreational approach.

From the top of the keep, the best panoramic view of the island!
